Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup; you put water in a bottle, it becomes the bottle of water; you put water into the teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or crash. Be water, my friend.

  Desktop meditation for busy people
Could you use some relaxation through your day, without sacrificing productivity? Perhaps engage in some simple on the spot techniques to rejuvenate and generate calmness? Feel more real? If you answer yes to these questions, then meditation at your desktop or while you're on the move is your solution.

· Free guided meditations are available online. Create a desktop icon to your favourite online meditation, put on your headphones and enjoy some quiet time. Check out these free meditations - The Secret Garden where you can enjoy 20 minutes relaxing on a hammock between trees; or select your own calming image for a free guided meditation script that takes you through a gentle physcial relaxation at Self Healing Expressions. Google for others, using the phrase "free guided meditation."
· Change your screensaver to one that will enhance calmness - check out the free Calm waters collection
· Take a deep breath wherever you are: Count your in-breath for four seconds. Hold for one second. Breathe out to the count of four. Allow your in-breathing to be deep and full.
